Phyllis started her LLC in 2016 and opened her first clinic in Huddleston in 2017. She opened her second location in Big Island in October 2019. With her education in nursing administration and adult primary care, and 47 years of nursing experience, she has a following of patients who want a different type of healthcare. Patients who come to her are looking for someone who listens and accepts patients who want alternative offerings to manage their complex needs.
In her work with hospice patients, she became comfortable providing care in patient’s homes and has expanded her practice to those who have difficulty getting to visits.
She welcomes patients of all backgrounds, insured by commercial or government plans or without insurance.
She wants to share her entrepreneurial experience with other nurse practitioners to expand these services to other areas. To those who wonder if they could, she says, “yes, you can”!
