Since 2007, Ellen has been the owner of West Side Deli. Voted Gold for Best Deli for many years in Lynchburg Living’s Best Of contest, if you live in the Lynchburg area, it’s surely one of your favorites too! As of 2024, Ellen is the new owner of another local favorite. The Colonial Restaurant in Rustburg is a family-friendly restaurant serving breakfast, lunch & dinner daily AND it’s also one of the Best Of with awards for Best Breakfast and Best Locally Owned Restaurant. Ellen says as a female business owner she gets the ability to prove to herself that she CAN make her dreams come true. She enjoys encouraging other women who may aspire to be a restaurant owner that with hard work, determination, and dedication, they too can make their dreams come true!
