As a Business Banker, Matt is focused on supporting the financial needs of businesses in Lynchburg, Forest, Bedford, Moneta and Collinsville. He has spent his career helping local companies grow by building and executing effective action plans. Adkins is a graduate of Liberty University.
Megan Lucas and Christine Kennedy—Named in Key Positions for U.S. Chamber Foundation.
Institute for Organization Management has appointed Lucas (LRBA CEO) as Chair of the National Board of Trustees and Kennedy (LRBA COO) as Chair of the Southeast Board of Regents. Lucas will lead the strategic direction of the Institute; Kennedy will help implement the policies created by the Institute’s National Board of Trustees at the Southeast Site of the Institute program.
Frederick “Tubby” Kubik—New Executive Director of the Blue Ridge Parkway Association.
Kubik replaces Tom Hardy, who retired after 36 years with the Association. Kubik lives in Roanoke but will be spending time on a regular basis in BRPA offices in Asheville, NC. He has served as secretary of the BRPA and later as president.
