Angie Eagle—Promoted to Vice President and Controller for Bank of the James. Eagle joined the bank in April 2006 as a Teller/Customer Service Representative and subsequently moved to the Accounting Division where she was promoted numerous times.
Chris Faraldi—New Director of Public Policy and Special Programming at the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance. Faraldi comes to the position after serving as the Director of Correspondence for U.S. Senator Charles Grassley. Other prior experience includes working for 6th District Representative Bob Goodlatte.
Christine Kennedy—Designated as a Certified Chamber Executive. Kennedy, Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance COO and Executive Vice President, earned this elite certification from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, which is made up of 1,300 chambers across the world. Kennedy is one of 11 chamber professionals to earn the designation in 2018.
Kimberly McIvor—Appointed as Workforce Services District Manager for the Virginia Employment Commission, South Central District. In her new role, McIvor will oversee offices in Danville, Martinsville, Lynchburg, South Boston and itinerate sites in South Hill and Stuart. She has 26 years of workforce development and employment security experience.
Lisa Meriwether—Reappointed to the Meeting Planners International Virginia Chapter Board of Directors. Meriwether, the city’s Tourism Sales Manager, is responsible for managing and supervising Chapter education efforts, including monthly programs and professional development. This is her fourth appointment to this board in her more than 30 years in the industry.
