With over 25 years of healthcare experience as a Nurse Manager and Educator, Temika Younger, RN, MSN-Ed is the proud owner of Virginia Adult Care Education (VACE), a subsidiary of Empowering Healthcare Professionals Training LLC—named in honor of her grandmother, who inspired her passion for caregiving.
Starting as a CNA, Temika has risen through the ranks to become a respected RN, leader, educator, author and advocate. Temika transformed VACE from a small team into Virginia’s sole organization providing comprehensive training programs for nurses aiming to instruct CNAs, Medication Aides, Personal Care Aides, and Leadership Courses for healthcare leaders, both in person and via Zoom. She also launched Empowering Nurses in Business, a coaching program to help nurses build successful training businesses.
As a certified John Maxwell Leadership Trainer, Speaker, and Coach, Temika is renowned for her gift to inspire and uplift. Her creative gift extends to the stage, where she finds joy in performing and singing. Guided by the principle to “Be Still” (Psalms 46:10) and trust in God’s direction, Temika leads both her life and VACE with purpose and faith. Through this vision, she and VACE continue to build a legacy of kindness, excellence, and unwavering support for nurses, leaders, and caregivers on their journeys.
