Heather Alto — New Director of Marketing and Membership for the Retail Merchants Association of Lynchburg. Alto is a former Sales Executive for VistaGraphics and Director of Membership and Marketing for the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce.
Kenneth R. Camplin — Named President of BWXT’s Nuclear Services Group (NSG). In this role, Camplin will lead the commercial nuclear and government technical services segments of the company. He had been NSG’s acting president since December 2016.
Denzel Jones — New Director of Public Policy and Special Programming at the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance. Jones comes to the position from Capitol Hill where he worked for 5th District Rep. Tom Garrett. He is a U.S. Army veteran and is currently pursuing a degree in Theology and Apologetics from Liberty University.
J.R. Rodes — Named Senior Vice President and Commercial Banker at Bank of the James. Rodes joined the bank in May 2005
and most recently held the position of SVP and Portfolio Manager. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University and holds a B.S. in Finance.
Heather Zippel — New Development Coordinator for Downtown Lynchburg Association. Zippel’s part-time role will focus primarily on fundraising, but she will also be involved in partnerships and business outreach efforts. She previously owned various retail storefronts in Lynchburg and ran her own interior design business.
